Florida Hospital East Orlando, a full-service community hospital, is one of Florida Hospital’s eight satellite facilities. This location became part of the Florida Hospital system in 1990, moving far beyond its humble beginnings as a 15-bed facility founded in 1941. Today, we are an innovative and respected local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area. A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project upgraded the hospital to a total 225 beds, with a spacious patient tower that allows for better accessibility of outpatient services. Florida Hospital East Orlando now features 80 new private patient rooms and overall soothing hospital design, both of which enhance the holistic patient experience of caring for the mind, body and spirit.
Each room is conveniently located off of a centralized nurses' station, with a smaller nurses' station immediately outside of the patient room. This unique floor plan allows nurses and physicians to more easily document and track progress over the course of an inpatient stay. Today’s Florida Hospital East Orlando also features increased outpatient resources, making it easier for more people to access the care they need.
It’s all part of our mission to serve our fellow man in the way God intended, by sharing our resources and our talents in a true expression of His healing love. A career here will allow you to experience a new vision of what suburban health care can accomplish, as you work alongside like-minded individuals who also have a purpose to serve.
